Valeryan has played a pivotal role in advising the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Indonesia through its state-owned enterprise PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (PT SMI), on the development of significant Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects. His work includes the West Semarang Water Supply System with a total investment of IDR 1.19 trillion, the West Java Water Supply System PPP with an estimated total investment of IDR 2.1 trillion, and the State College Hospital for Padjadjaran University with an estimated total investment of IDR 500 billion.
While infrastructure is a key focus, Valeryan’s expertise also extends to Capital Markets and Banking & Finance matters. He acted as Indonesian legal counsel to DBS Bank Ltd for the granting of up to SGD 124,100,000 credit facility to Hindo (S) Pte Ltd and its Indonesian subsidiary operating outlets sales of Swedish apparel and footwear brand. Additionally, he acted as legal counsel to PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk in its approximately IDR 1.2 trillion Initial Public Offering (IPO) under the framework of Regulation S, further demonstrating his versatility in handling complex and high-profile transactions.
Valeryan earned his Bachelor of Laws from Universitas Indonesia and pursued his LLM in Corporations at New York University, supported by a full-ride scholarship from Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance.
