With more than 12 years of experience in foreign direct investment, down-stream oil and gas transaction, and good corporate governance implementation program, Muqthi assists our clients in implementing the advisory service provided by UMBRA, ensuring that we could provide an end-to-end service for any type of transaction.

 

Muqthi has served local and international clients in structuring and registering foreign direct investment application in multiple fields of investment. He also works closely with Indonesian policy maker from the National Investment Coordination Agency (BKPM), related ministries/departments, other governmental institutions, Indonesian and/or foreign chambers of commerce as well as business associations to discuss and formulate policies on foreign direct investment and general licensing matters.

 

Complementing his corporate compliance practice, Muqthi has provided continuous and systematic legal training program for UMBRA’s clients in-house counsels and business development officials with the purpose of strengthening the team and creating better synergy between us and our clients. He was the former Executive Director of the Forum for Corporate Governance in Indonesia (“FCGI”) and is active as an Indonesian delegation in GCG networks conference in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.

  • Representing PPN in litigation and dispute cases related to all of PPN’s business and transaction in all stages (starting from case preparation until execution process). His service includes determining the proper legal strategy, dealing with counterpart and/or third parties involved, and providing legal advice for litigation or alternative dispute resolution (2012-2014).
  • Representing PPN as a legal liaison in managing relationship with governmental institutions and PT Pertamina (Persero) for any legal matters. He works closely with the relevant decision makers and provide them with advice on legal matters, project structuring and transaction model, financial structure, risk mitigation, and contract drafting process (2012-2014).
