These were the first bonds issued in Indonesia that had to comply with the rules of the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA), Bank Permata being a member of the Standard Chartered Group (2006).

  • Representing PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (previously was PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk) in obtaining financing from the International Finance Corporation (2006).

 

Oil and Gas

  • Assisting ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (Exxon) in a land acquisition project within the Cepu Block for the construction of Central Field Facilities Alternate Location in Banyu Urip Field (2008). Banyu Urip Field is Exxon’s vital project that currently produces around 200,000 barrels per day, equals to around 25% of the total national oil production in Indonesia.
  • Assisting PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (EMLI) in entering a Branded Supply Agreement (BSA) for Petroleum Products with PT Triputra Investindo Arya (2018). The BSA is a long-term agreement (~21 years) with the aim to increase the selling of EMLI’s fuel products in Indonesia on a branded basis.
  • Assisting EMLI in a Fuels Sales and Purchase Agreement (Fuels SPA) with PT Indika Energy Tbk (2018). Similar with BSA, the Fuels SPA is also a long-term agreement (~21 years) with the aim to increase the selling of EMLI’s fuel products in Indonesia, but on a non-branded basis.

  • Assisting a local company which is one of the major players of steel industry in South East Asia in an execution process of a civil court award (ongoing).
  • Assisting local securities trading company in a dispute settled through Indonesian Capital Market Arbitration Board (Badan Arbitrase Pasar Modal Indonesia or BAPMI) (ongoing).
  • Assisting a local bank in an asset recovery process of problematic debtors (debtors having low level of credit collectability) (ongoing).
  • Representing an Indonesian mining company in an international trade dispute against a Chinese company related to an export of nickel cargo (2019).
  • Representing a PMA freight forwarding company in a civil dispute (2019).
  • Representing a local limited liability company in a civil (contractual) dispute at Bekasi District Court against a persekutuan komanditer (CV). The CV supplied apparel label products to the local company. (2015 – 2016).
  • Representing a local company engaged in health industry in a civil dispute (unlawful act) at South Jakarta District Court against another local company in relation to a distribution arrangement (Medicine) between the two companies (2015 – 2016).
  • Representing a local developer company (Local Developer) in a commercial construction dispute (breach of contract) at the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia) against a state-owned company in its role as a contractor in a Main Contractor Work Package Contract by the Local Developer (2014 – 2015).Representing various multinational companies in labour disputes at the Industrial Relations Court against their employees (2014 – 2016).
  • Representing an Australian company engaged in the exploration of base metal properties in Australia in a state administrative dispute at Surabaya State Administrative Court. The company filed a state administrative claim against the decision of Banyuwangi Regent due to the transfer of Production Operation and Exploration Mining Business License (Izin Usaha Pertambangan Eksplorasi dan Operasi Produksi) of Tumpang Pitu gold mine from a local company to another local company (2013 – 2014).
  • Representing a former minister in an interrogation and investigation process held by the Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi or KPK) when the person was named as a suspect by KPK on a corruption case (2012).

  • Assisting a local company in acquiring another local company having a line of business of (i) providing services in operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant and (ii) providing goods and services in relation to water filtration using Reverse Osmosis technique (ongoing).
  • Representing EMLI in an acquisition of PT Federal Karyatama (Federal) from PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk (2018). Federal is known for its two wheels lubricants and currently holds 18-20 percent of lubricants market share in Indonesia. The acquisition strengthens and complements EMLI’s 4 wheels lubricants products.
