Angela Vania Rustandi is the youngest counsel at UMBRA, acting as the head of the firm’s Law and Policy Focus Group. With an academic background in environmental law and sustainability, Vania has become a trusted advisor in the areas of energy transition, carbon trading, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. She adeptly navigates Indonesia’s dynamic and evolving regulatory framework in energy transition, delivering legal advice that is both compliant and precisely tailored to meet each client’s unique business needs.

 

Her expertise encompasses representing prominent public and private sector institutions, both local and international, in transactional and advisory matters related to sustainability and energy transition. Vania’s in-depth knowledge is further honed through her significant involvement in policy development, regulatory drafting, and collaborations with ministries, NGOs, and state-owned enterprises.

 

As an active member of the Association of Carbon Emission Experts Indonesia, Vania continues to contribute to shaping sustainable policy frameworks and fostering partnerships that advance Indonesia’s environmental and energy goals.
