We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Ferin Chairysa to Counsel at UMBRA – Strategic Legal Solutions, a well-deserved recognition of her remarkable achievements, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Ferin has already made a significant impact in the natural resources sector, providing legal counsel to clients in mining, oil and gas, shipping, and ports. Ferin’s deep understanding of these sectors, combined with her innovative approach, allows her to seamlessly integrate legal strategy with business objectives. Her leadership and contributions have also earned her recognition as one of key lawyers in Projects and Energy by Legal500.
In addition to her expertise in natural resources, Ferin has earned accolades for her work in mergers & acquisitions and business restructuring. She was named a Rising Star in M&A by IFLR1000 in both 2023 and 2024, demonstrating her exceptional skill in managing complex transactions and restructuring deals. With cum laude distinctions for her Bachelor’s in Law from the University of Indonesia and Master of Business Administration in Sustainability from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Ferin combines legal expertise with strong business acumen. Achieving all of these before 30, she has already garnered significant recognition, including being shortlisted as Advocate of the Year at the ALB Women in Law Awards APAC 2023.
