This project obtains approximately USD 60 million project financing from DEG, Proparco, and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and marks ACWA Power’s first investment into large-scale solar power in Indonesia.
  • USD 55 Million Project Financing for 50 MW IKN Solar Power Plant with 14.2 MW BESS – Represents PT PLN (Persero) in the development and financing of 50 MW IKN Solar Power Plant (Ground Mounted) with 14.2 MW BESS in the Nusantara Capital City, Indonesia being developed by Sembcorp Utilities Pte. Ltd. and PT PLN Nusantara Renewables. This project obtains approximately USD 55 million project financing from Societe Generale and Clifford Capital Pte. Ltd and marks Sembcorp’s first investment into large-scale solar power in Indonesia. This deal is shortlisted as “Project Finance Deal of the Year” at the IFLR Asia Pacific Awards 2025.
  • USD 1,2 Billion Project Financing for 510 MW Batang Toru Hydro Power Plant – Represents PT PLN Nusantara Renewables in the development and finacing of 510 MW Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant in Tapanuli, North Sumatera, Indonesia being developed by PowerChina and PT PLN Nusantara Renewables. This project obtains approximately USD 1,2 billion project financing from a group of Chinese lenders and marks the largest project financing for hydropower plant in Indonesia to date. This deal is the first-ever geothermal power plant in Indonesia being financed by Indonesian lenders.
