Our Managing Partner Pramudya A. Oktavinanda took the stage as one of the speakers at the Indonesia Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2025, in a thematic session titled “Powering the Future: Advancing Green Data Centres in Indonesia.”
Hosted by the Indonesian Solar Energy Association (AESI) in collaboration with Tenggara Strategics, CSIS Indonesia, Prasetiya Mulya University, and UMBRA – Strategic Legal Solutions, the session brought together thought leaders from across sectors; energy, digital infrastructure, and sustainability, to discuss how Indonesia can build a greener, smarter, and more resilient digital ecosystem.
Representing the legal and policy perspective, Pramudya discussed the key regulatory and investment challenges that must be addressed to support Indonesia’s goal of becoming a leading digital hub in Southeast Asia. He outlined how stronger data governance, environmental compliance, and simplified investment regulations are essential to attract and sustain green data centre development. He also emphasized the importance of structuring legal frameworks that can accommodate the rapid growth of AI, IoT, and cloud technologies while maintaining Indonesia’s sustainability commitments.
