We are proud to have our Senior Associate, Angela Vania Rustandi, moderating the 3rd Session of Sustainable Investment Day at the Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week 2024. The event, themed ‘Make or Break in Sustainable Energy Investment: Critical Factors in Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Project Deals’. The panel featured prominent speakers including Kuswara Hardjowiyono (Director of Operations, PLN Nusantara Renewables), Binu George (Business Development Director and Country Manager, BECIS), Michael Sung (Director, PT Ever Shine Tex Tbk), and Watanabe Hirotaka (Energy Transition Advisor for PLN appointed by JICA Indonesia).
This session discusses success factors, best practices, and challenges in developing bankable renewable energy and energy conservation projects contribute to advancing energy transition and achieving net zero emission targets in Indonesia. Additionally, exploring the perspectives of financial institutions on project bankability will help align investment strategies with the country’s sustainability goals.
