PLN Women Summit 2024
Highlighting the strides toward gender equality and empowerment, our Head of Power and Infrastructures Practice Group, Kirana Sastrawijaya, recently shared her remarkable journey as a female Projects Lawyer at PT PLN (Persero)‘s Women Summit. Her narrative embodies resilience and determination, illuminating her path to success in a traditionally male-dominated field, where she shattered barriers and redefined norms.
President Director of PT PLN Enjiniring (Official), Ibu Chairani Rachmatullah, delivered her keynote speech as a leading woman in the electricity sector. Moderated by Brigita Manohara, Kirana, along with the rest of the panel: Advocate for Indonesian MSMEs, Ibu Suryani Motik; Chief Financial Officer of PT PLN (Persero), Ibu Sinthya Roesly; and Co-Chairperson of the PIKK PT PLN (Persero), Ibu dr. Firdausi Nurharini Kusdwiharto, also graced the summit with their inspiring stories. Director General EBTKE ConEx of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Indonesia, Ibu Eniya Listiani Dewi, was also invited to share her insights as an inspiring woman in the energy transition sector in Indonesia. We applaud these women for their unwavering commitment to excellence, as they pave the way and inspire countless others to pursue their aspirations fearlessly.
PLN is dedicated to empowering female employees, as evident in initiatives like the Srikandi Task Force formed in 2021. Programs such as Srikandi Menyapa and Srikandi Goes to Campus foster a supportive environment for women’s advancement. Integrated policies like the Statement of Corporate Intent ensure gender equality and workplace safety. PLN’s establishment of daycare centers at their offices further demonstrates their commitment to gender mainstreaming, offering essential support for working parents.
As we commemorate the anniversary of the PLN Srikandi Task Force, we extend our deepest appreciation to PLN for their steadfast support of initiatives such as the Women’s Summit, which empowers women to thrive in their careers and assert their place in the professional landscape.
