2024 Indonesia Coal Outlook Conference
Our Head of the Project and Infrastructure Practice Group, Kirana Sastrawijaya was elated to be invited in the 2024 Indonesia Coal Outlook Conference and shared her enlightening perspectives on carbon trading titled “Navigating the Legal Landscape of Carbon Trading: Implications of Indonesia’s Carbon Exchange and Regulatory Framework”.

During the seminar, Kirana addressed the carbon trading main provisions under PR 98/2021 and MOEF Reg 21/2022 which would have significant implications for mining industries in Indonesia. She also explored on the legal aspects of carbon exchange which has been recently launched by the Government of Indonesia.
The conference offered an extensive and captivating discussion, which was enhanced by the different perspectives and topics addressed by speakers from varied backgrounds. We anticipate participating in future interactive discussions and maintaining a crucial role in advancing emission reduction initiatives in Indonesia.
