Energy Transition Webinar Series MKI – Episode #5: Regulasi dan Kebijakan yang Dibutuhkan untuk Mendukung Masuknya Investasi Global dalam Percepatan Transisi Energi di Indonesia
On 7 February 2024, Masyarakat Ketenagalistrikan Indonesia hosted the thought-provoking final webinar of the “Energy Transition Webinar Series: Accelerating Indonesia Energy Transition: Challenges, Opportunities, and Solutions.” This culminating episode delved into the crucial theme of “The Regulations and Policies Needed to Support the Influx of Global Investment in Accelerating Energy Transition in Indonesia.
The forum was attended by several distinguished speakers, including: (i) Opening Speech by Bapak Evy Haryadi, Chairman of IEPS/MKI; (ii) Bapak Rachmat Kaimuddin as Head of Satgas Energy Transition; (iii) Bapak Edo Mahendra from JETP; (iv) Bapak Pradana Murti from PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero); (v) Ibu Jenny J. Chao from The World Bank; (vi) Ibu Lazeena Rahman from Asian Development Bank (ADB); and (vii) Bapak Waldo Valorian from IBM.
Together with Bu Derina , QRGP,GRCP,CCCO,LCOP, our Head of Power and Infrastructure, Kirana Sastrawijaya, both representing Division 6 DDP Masyarakat Ketenagalistrikan Indonesia, support the event by pitching triggering questions for the discussion on regulations and policies needed to support Investment in Accelerating Energy Transition in Indonesia, including procurement of renewable power plants; local content; negative pledge issues; and regulatory support in implementing digital technology in the electricity system.
The conference provided an in-depth and engaging dialogue, enriched by diverse perspectives and topics presented by speakers from various backgrounds.
