Pre-Event ILOC – Public Private Partnership in New Capital City
We are thrilled to have our Senior Associate in Projects & Infrastructure practice group, Zuhal Dwi Saputra, speak at the Business and Public-Private Partnership Talk titled: “Exploring Business Law: Public-Private Partnership and Project Finance as Solutions for Developing Infrastructure in the New Capital City.” This event was recently hosted by the Private & Commercial Law Community at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, as part of the Pre-Event for the 5th National Business Law Community Internal Legal Opinion Competition.
Zuhal provided an in-depth discussion covering (i) the overview of the New Capital City (IKN), (ii) the licensing regime and land utilization in IKN, and (iii) the key features of PPP for New Capital City. He shared his knowledge and experience in assisting government contracting agencies and sponsors in developing infrastructure under the PPP scheme, as well as how the PPP scheme for the New Capital City would attract investors and address several risks that typically arise in ordinary PPP projects.
