PT Sumber Energi Surya Nusantara (SESNA) – The Signing of Solar Operational Leasing Agreement 200 MWp PV + 20 MWh BESS Project
We extend our congratulations to PT Sumber Energi Surya Nusantara (SESNA Group) for its cooperation with Nickel Industries Limited (Nickel Industries), a leading nickel processing business, for the development of solar PV projects to supply green energy for Nickel Industries’ smelter operations located in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP). This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it represents one of the largest ground-mounted solar projects in Indonesia, boasting an impressive capacity of 200 MWp, coupled with 20 MWh of battery storage. The project strengthen SESNA’s position as an all-in-one solar developer in the Indonesian solar market, as well as aligning with Nickel Industries’ commitment to clean, sustainable nickel production to minimize the carbon footprint.
Led by our Head of Power and Renewable Practice Group, Kirana Sastrawijaya with the support of Zuhal Dwi Saputra, Risca Piscensia Haryanto, and Naomi Elvienne, we are proud to have advised and assisted SESNA for the project.
