The signing of the Facility Agreement in the framework of refinancing in relation to the Makassar – Parepare Railway project
We extend our congratulations to PT Celebes Railway Indonesia (PT CRI) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk for the signing of the Facility Agreement in the framework of refinancing in relation to the Makassar – Parepare Railway project (Project) – the first railway in Sulawesi Island which spans over 144km, as a part of the Trans Sulawesi Railways network connecting the entire island of Sulawesi, which is developed under the public-private partnership scheme.
Led by our senior partner Kirana Sastrawijaya with the support of Jesseline Tiopan and Risca Piscensia Haryanto, we are proud to have assisted PT CRI in the successful signing of the deal – in which the closing of such transaction is expected to set a precedent in the refinancing scheme of a PPP project in the country to benefit not only the sponsors of the Project, but also the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Transportation as the Government contracting agency and the people of Sulawesi. We also hope that we can continue to support and contribute to infrastructure development in Indonesia.
