Workshop PLN NP terkait Perdagangan Karbon sektor Ketenagalistrikan
We were pleased to be invited by PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) to share our insight on Indonesian regulatory framework relating to carbon trading in the electricity sector. The seminar covers a broad range of topics relating to carbon trading from the recently promulgated MEMR Regulation No. 16 of 2020 on carbon pricing in the power plant sub sector to the latest development of carbon exchange set out in Law No. 4 of 2023.
Our Head of Power and Infrastructure, Kirana D. Sastrawijaya and associate, Angela Vania, discussed the legal opportunities and hurdles in carrying out carbon trading in the electricity sector. Our Managing Partner, Pramudya A. Oktavinanda, discussed the carbon exchange development in Indonesia and how the carbon exchange will presumably be implemented in the future.
As PLN NP is a key player in the electricity sector in Indonesia, we were delighted to be able to share our inputs and knowledge regarding carbon trading development in the electricity sector.
