Power Purchase Agreement Training at PJB Academy
We are honored to have our power and renewable partner Kirana Sastrawijaya, and supported by our associates Davin Rizky Abdurahman and Yorda Lazuardi, to speak in a Power Purchase Agreement Training at PJB Academy which was recently held by PT PLN Nusantara Power (formerly known as PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali) to discuss in details on the new developments of PPA for future power projects in Indonesia.
In this training, Kirana highlighted key issues involving the recently issued Presidential Regulation No. 112 of 2022 on the Acceleration of Renewable Energy Development for Electricity Generation and explained how it will impact numerous provisions in the future procurement documents of PLN.
Davin and Yorda discussed in detail the clauses of PPAs and also covered the newly introduced provisions by PLN in its procurement documents with a mandatory partner scheme which involves a majority-owned subsidiary of PLN as a sponsor of the project and explained how it will impact the structure and bankability for future power projects in Indonesia.
The ever-changing and highly regulated power sector has always been one of the main cores of our expertise and we are very excited to assist clients in navigating the complex nature of the power sector and unlock the potential investment for the development of power projects in Indonesia.
We really enjoyed the discussion and the excitement of the participants during the training. Thank you PJB for having us and we hope we can continue to contribute to the development of power and renewable projects in Indonesia.
