Cirata Reservoir Floating Solar PV Plant (145MW) (Cirata Project) – Floating Solar Deal of the Year by IJGlobal Awards 2021
We are proud to announce that one of our most exciting greenfield renewable projects, Cirata Reservoir Floating Solar PV Plant (145MW) (Cirata Project), was recently named as the winner of Floating Solar Deal of the Year by IJGlobal Awards 2021!
The IJGlobal Awards recognize a number of noteworthy greenfield financing and refinancing transactions that closed in the Asia Pacific during the year 2021. As a paramount project, one that is considered to be the largest solar floating plant in Southeast Asia using precedent-breaking structure, it came as no surprise that the project gains the recognition it rightfully deserves.
Led by our senior partners, Kirana Sastrawijaya, Pramudya A. Oktavinanda, and Putu Raditya Nugraha, and assisted by Amelia Rohana Sonang, Theresia Azalia, and Davin Rizky Abdurahman, the Cirata Project managed to make a mark in history as one of the most complex projects in Indonesian energy industry involving bespoke synthetic security, layered shareholding structure, and corporate governance arrangements that were first formulated by us for Indonesia’s largest project financing transaction in 2020, setting a new precedent that is accepted by international export credit agencies and private financial institutions, and which serves as the primary guideline for future power projects that involve partnership between PLN’s group and private IPPs.
It is always a pleasure for us to reimagine the possibilities, bringing fresh innovations that weave art and logic together to produce the best results for our clients, results that are not only ground-breaking, but also repeatable! Congratulations to everyone involved!
