PT Rekeningku Dotcom Indonesia – US$11 million Series A Fund Raising led by AC Ventures with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Skystar Capital

Congratulations to Reku (Rekeningku), a leading Indonesia-based crypto trader, for their successful Series A fund raising with an investment value of approximately USD11 million. The funding was led by AC Ventures with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Skystar Capital. Founded in 2017, Rekeningku has been riding the blockchain wave and become one of the first financial tech start-ups obtaining profit in Indonesia. This is the first external funding obtained by Rekeningku since its establishment. The investment is expected to support the growth of Rekeningku while transforming Indonesia’s crypto ecosystem.

Continuing our series of successful deal closings, this deal will further strengthen the business and technology capacity of Rekeningku and bring exciting new technological developments and opportunities to their consumers and stakeholders. Despite the uncertainty surrounding crypto asset regulations in Indonesia, including the fact that Indonesia’s Bappebti, (the regulatory body overseeing crypto trading), has suspended registration for new crypto traders indefinitely, we managed to make the impossible, possible. In spite of the current regulatory landscape, UMBRA closed the deal in a tight time frame during this uncertain period.
