Webinar – Training on Power Purchase Agreement

We are honored to have our Senior Partner Kirana Sastrawijaya, the Head of Power, Energy, and Infrastructure Practice Group, to speak in a Power Purchase Agreement Training which was recently held by PT. Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB).

In this training, Kirana discussed in details clauses of PPAs. The discussions also cover on how the tariff provisions in PPAs differ from conventional projects – which usually use fixed and variable components vs. single tariff model (which is used in many feed-in-tariff projects such as geothermal, mini hydro and waste to energy projects). The training also discussed how TOP guarantee provisions in PPAs differ in intermittent projects compared to the ones in conventional projects. This is an interesting topic as the discussion is very relevant to the plan of the Government to prioritize renewable in the 2021-2030 RUPTL which majorly will be contributed by hydro, solar and geothermal projects.

We really enjoy the discussion and the excitement from the participants during the discussion.

Thank you PJB for having us. We hope we can continue to contribute for development of power and renewable projects in Indonesia.
