Closing of the IDR6.188 trillion sale and lease back of Telkomsel’s 4,000 telco towers by Mitratel
Huge congratulations to PT. Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel) and Telkomsel for the closing of the IDR6.188 trillion sale and lease back of Telkomsel’s 4,000 telco towers by Mitratel. With the completion of this deal, Mitratel has cemented its position as the largest telco tower company in the South East Asia region by owning and operating more than 28,000 towers.
Led by Pramudya A. Oktavinanda and Andika Setia Budi, we are incredibly proud to be part of Mitratel’s journey of becoming a leading first class telco infrastructure company! In less than 3 years, we have assisted Mitratel in acquiring more than 15,000 telco towers through multiple deals, each in a pressing timeframe and involving complex bid process and/or commercial and regulatory arrangement. Completing this deal from scratch during the pandemic in less than 2 months is another testament to our commitment of making the impossible possible, of getting things done no matter what the challenges are!
