Signing of the cooperation agreement for the development of a 16MW floating solar power plant project in Krenceng reservoir, Banten
Congratulations to Akuo Energy Indonesia (a subsidiary of Paris-based Akuo Energy SAS, a leading multinational renewable corporation), PT Krakatau Steel Tbk (KRAS) and PT Krakatau Tirta Industri (KTI) for the signing of the cooperation agreement for the development of a 16MW floating solar power plant project in Krenceng reservoir, Banten (which would be raised to 40MW).
Led by Kirana Sastrawijaya, Liyanto Wijaya and Dinda Khamasasyiah (Asya), we are pleased to be involved in this deal advising Akuo Energy. Continuing our strong presence in Indonesian renewable projects, this landmark project highlights another significant development of solar floating projects in Indonesia since the signing of the first power purchase agreement for a large 145MW solar floating project in Cirata last year (with us also acting as a counsel in such project).
With the country aiming to increase the use of green energy, this important milestone is expected to contribute to the emissions reduction and achievement of the national energy mix of 23% from renewable energy in Indonesia for 2025! Congratulations once again!
