Recently, Kirana Sastrawijaya (our power and renewable partner) and Amelia Rohana Sonang spoke in “Regulators Training on Electricity Planning by Considering Renewable Energy for Policy Makers” which was supported and coordinated by GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN.
This online training was conducted to strengthen the capacity of policymakers to properly assess the planning process and broaden their horizons on new technologies and development frameworks for decision-makers related to system planning electricity with the hope that it can push the planning of the Indonesian power system in a more positive direction.
The training was attended by representatives of Directorate General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and PLN regionals. In her session, Kirana discussed the importance of PPA, the structure of project agreements, introduction to project finance, and risk allocation for a bankable PPA.
