New Guidelines for Interconnection of Renewable Energy (RE) Generation Plant to PLN Distribution Network
We are excited to have our power, renewable, and infrastructure partner, Kirana Sastrawijaya, speaking in one of the workshops in the 8th Indo EBTKE ConEx 2019, titled “New Guidelines for Interconnection of Renewable Energy (RE) Generation Plant to PLN Distribution Network”. The 8th Indo EBTKE ConEx 2019 is an annual event hosted by the Indonesia Renewable Energy Society (Masyarakat Energi Terbarukan Indonesia), and this year, the conference took the main theme of Energy Transition Toward Sustainable Energy.
In this event, Kirana shared her insight on the scope of applicability of the new guidelines, its relationship with the applicable grid and distribution regulations, and how an interconnection study can be relevant in the planning and risk allocation for a power purchase agreement drafting from the perspective of PLN vs. developers.
The other speakers in the workshop include representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, PLN, and USAID ICED II.
