On 20 March 2018, our Senior Partner Kirana Sastrawijaya was invited to be the moderator in “Focus Group Discussion: Electricity Need in Kepulauan Seribu”, which was held by PT Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo. Attended by many stakeholders in the industry as well as representatives from the Government, this event was intended to accelerate power plant construction with the final goal of bolstering economic, educational, tourism and information delivery aspects in Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta.

Vice Governor of Jakarta, Sandiaga Uno, who gave an opening remarks in this event, requested the support from both PLN and the private sectors to develop and supply electricity generated from renewable resources with the help of related stakeholders. Kirana led the discussion and helped accommodate participants’ suggestions on how to address the issues revolving around power plant construction in Kepulauan Seribu, including on its financing, electricity generation cost, business scheme, and investment opportunity aspects.
