Asia Pacific Energy Talks: Indonesia Edition
We are delighted to have our Kirana Sastrawijaya, Head of the Projects and Infrastructure Practice Group of UMBRA, to speak as one of the panellists at the conference re: “Asia Pacific Energy Talks: Indonesia Edition”, hosted by Siemens Energy in collaboration with the Indonesian Electrical Power Society (Masyarakat Ketenagalistrikan Indonesia (MKI).
The event was opened by keynote speech from Mr. Rachmat Kaimuddin (Deputy Minister for Infrastructure & Transportation Coordination, Coordinating Ministry of Maritime and Investment / Chairman of National Energy Transition Task Force) and from Her Excellency Ina Lepel (Ambassador of Germany).
Kirana (who also spoke as a representative from legal department of MKI) shared the panel re: “Decoding Indonesia’s Energy Transition: the Power of Public-Private Collaborations” with other notable speakers, Mr. Evy Haryadi (Director of Transmission and System Planning PT PLN (Persero) / Chairman of MKI), and Mr. Karna Mohan (Vice President Finance Asia Pacific Siemens Energy). The panel discussed the intricacies of energy transition and the collaborative efforts required between the public and private sectors to expedite this transformative process. Kirana’s expertise shone as she delved into the legal intricacies surrounding energy transition, offering insights into overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities in this evolving landscape.
This esteemed event brought together key stakeholders from industry, academia, and government to explore the crucial aspects of Indonesia’s energy transition, in which other speakers include speakers from among others, PT Pertamina (Persero) (Mr. Oki Muraza), PLN Indonesia Power (Mr. Edwin Nugraha Putra), ACWA Power (Mr. Salman Baray), and Medco Power Indonesia (Mr. Eka Satria).
We are honored to contribute to this dialogue, uniting with fellow stakeholders in shaping Indonesia’s journey towards a sustainable, low-carbon future.
