Qamelya Risma is an Associate of UMBRA – Strategic Legal Solutions. She has assisted a wide range of clients such as local and international companies, banks and non-bank financial institutions. She has assisted in various finance and projects works, which encompass conducting research, legal due diligence, preparing financing transaction documents and power purchase agreements, and drafting legal memorandum.

  • Representing the lenders for a US$370,000,000 refinancing of 2 x 150 MW Mine-Mouth Power Plant project in South Sumatera
  • Representing the lenders for a US$220,000,000 term loan financing of the supply contracts for a nickel metallurgical plant and its supporting 250 MW coal-fired power plant in an industrial park in North Maluku
  • Representing Vena Energy (developer) for a US$120,000,000 project financing of the 60 MW Wind Power Plant project in Jeneponto
  • Representing Vena Energy (developer) for a US$19,200,000 project financing of the 15 MWac Solar Power Plant project in Likupang
  • Representing Vena Energy (developer) for a total of US$20,970,000 project financing of three 5 MWac Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant projects in Lombok
  • Representing lenders in a dual currency financing of a hotel acquisition in Indonesia
  • Representing PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk., PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk., and PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (collectively PT Pilar Sinergi BUMN Indonesia), and PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (developer) for a financing of the first high speed railway project in Indonesia connecting Jakarta-Bandung
  • Representing lenders in a US$1,250,000,000 financing for geothermal power plants acquisition in Indonesia
  • Representing lenders in an IDR refinancing of water companies in Indonesia
  • Representing lenders in a dual currency financing equivalent to US$333,000,000 granted to a multi-finance company
  • Representing the lender in a revolving loan facility granted to Indonesia Eximbank


Power Projects

  • Representing PLN in a 35 MW Waste-to-Energy Power Plant in Sunter (ongoing)
  • Representing the developer in an amendment of the power purchase agreement for a 240 MW Geothermal Power Plant project in Sorik Marapi
  • Advising the sponsor in respect of a power purchase agreement negotiation for a 55 MW Geothermal Power Plant in Way Ratai
  • Assisting CITIC in a business acquisition of several independent power producers in Indonesia
  • Assisting UPC Renewables Ltd. for a vendor due diligence of several independent power producers in Indonesia
