As ASEAN accelerates its renewable energy ambitions, the demand for project developers, financiers, and operational leaders is growing rapidly. This session highlighted the critical need to address skills shortages by building a stronger, more inclusive pipeline of women across the renewable energy value chain, exploring actionable strategies for recruitment, technical training, and leadership readiness.
Beyond capacity building, the panel also tackled the core commercial and regulatory drivers shaping ASEAN’s energy transition. The discussion provided strategic insights on strengthening project bankability, mobilizing capital for grid infrastructure, and executing cross-border power projects through enhanced regional cooperation.
