On February 27, 2024, a remarkable strategic alliance between Forum Human Capital Indonesia (FHCI) and the world’s largest professional network, LinkedIn, was crystallized through the signing of the Strategic Collaboration Agreement, enabling both parties to join forces to accelerate the upskilling of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) employees through LinkedIn Learning solutions. As stated by Tedi Bharata, Deputy of Human Capital, Technology, and Information at the Ministry of SOE, this momentous alliance should act as a catalyst for transformation and promoting equality of learning chances for various SOEs, regardless of their size and that this kind of synergy between SOEs and various stakeholders are aligned with the direction of Minister of SOE, Mr. Erick Thohir.
Steering this groundbreaking venture on behalf of FHCI was UMBRA, led by our Managing Partner, Pramudya A. Oktavinanda, and supported by our Senior Associate, Dhea Gita Pramesti and Associate, Nahda Anisa Rahma. Together, we played a pivotal role in guarding this collaboration within tight deadlines, through the formulation and negotiation of the Strategic Collaboration Agreement. The innovative structure of this agreement designed by us that utilizes the collective power of SOEs also allows all SOEs that are members to FHCI to enjoy the benefits provided by the Strategic Collaboration Agreement.
Our Managing Partner was personally invited to attend the signing ceremony of the Strategic Collaboration Agreement between FHCI and LinkedIn, held at the LinkedIn Office in Singapore. The signing ceremony was also graced by the presence of among others, Mr. Muhammad Rizal Kamal, Assistant Deputy of Human Capital Management at the Ministry of SOE, Mr. Dharma Syahputra, Vice Chairman of FHCI and Director of Human Capital at PT Kimia Farma Tbk., as the signatory of FHCI, Mr. Yusuf Didi Setiarto, Director of Legal and Human Capital at PT PLN (Persero), and Mr. Agung Wiharto, Director of Human Capital and General Affairs at PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
With this initiative, SOEs employees will gain access to LinkedIn’s smart artificial intelligence (AI)-based skill-building platform, which offers more than 21,000 courses, ranging from AI to leadership. This initiative will also provide FHCI and its SOE members with insights into talent, skills and learning trends in Indonesia, enabling them to provide practical tips and recommendations to FHCI’s executive leadership and the Ministry of SOEs.
Heartfelt congratulations to all parties involved in this triumphant endeavor!
